Hemer Magna's story

Hemer is a hard-working, responsible, enterprising woman who is eager to get ahead with her husband for the well-being of her three children who are 18, 8 and 2 years old.

She has been working in agriculture for 15 years, planting and growing cocoa, bananas, and mullein, and other local products. Due to the economic situation, sale prices have dropped too much and insects have caused diseases among her cocoa plant, which was stagnate before the situation.

For this reason, she is applying for a loan to hire a day laborer and to pay the rent for a plot of farming land that will help her to sell products and provide quality service to her customers.

Her husband works on other plots of land and sometimes they work together on other plots of land in order to earn more income. Her biggest goal is to be able to invest in her children's education.
