Zakaria's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy 25 bags of rice, three cans of oil and four cartons of spaghetti, and to save to take care of his family.

Zakaria's story

Zakaria is the father of a two-year-old and is a merchant. He has been selling various food products in a neighborhood in the capital for more than five years. He is on his second loan cycle with the microfinance institution Yikri and has reimbursed his first Kiva loan.

Zakaria is asking for a new loan to buy 25 bags of rice, three cans of oil and four cartons of spaghetti to meet his customers' demands. He wants to use his profits to reinvest in his business and save to take care of his family.

He wants to thank the Kiva lenders, and urges everyone to protect themselves from the Covid-19 virus.
