Maman Tusogezane Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy rice, beans, and potatoes, which will strengthen her initial capital.

Maman Tusogezane Group's story

Mrs. Esperance is a client of the Hekima IMF and head of the Maman Tusogezane groupe villageoise. She is 40 years old, married and mother to eight children, all of whom are in school. Her partner is a trader.

Mrs. Esperance sells food products. She started this business in 2010 with the funds received from her husband. She later became involved in the Hekima program to support her business, during which time it gradually grew. With this new loan, she will buy rice, beans and potatoes, which will strengthen her initial capital. The challenge of her business is linked to the exchange rate and to confinement.

She would like to feed her family and for her children to continue to study. Lastly, she wishes to thank Hekima and its partners for the support given to the owners of businesses which are unprofitable during the global COVID-19 crisis.
