Viola's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to be able to buy farming inputs.

Viola's story

Farming is a risky business, especially when it comes to unpredictable weather conditions and market trends. However, female farmers like Viola, a 27-year-old mom, pictured above, find the courage to invest their resources in farming.

Viola is the only breadwinner in her family. She works on her farm, growing trees and vegetables and rearing dairy cows and poultry. Although she has been earning profits through farming, not everything has been easy for this humble and industrious mother.

Viola's farm has not been producing an optimal harvest because it lacks fertilizer and good seeds, and pests and diseases are present. This is why she is seeking an emergency loan of 10,000 KES to buy farming inputs.

Through the loan, Viola will be on her way to a bumper harvest, which will translate into more profit. With the use of good seeds and fertilizer, she will reap more, which will assure that she can comfortably take care of her family and repay the loan.

Viola’s plan is to increase her farming and save more money so that she can buy more land for farming. Please support this smallholder farmer, who needs your help today to be able to get ahead and pursue her dreams.
