A loan helped to buy flour, cooking oil, rice and laundry detergent, which will strengthen her initial capital.

Desanges Group's story

Justine is a customer of the microfinance institution Hekima and the treasurer of the "Desanges" Group. She is married, forty three years old and the mother of four children, who all go to school. Her husband is a shopkeeper.
She runs a shop where she sells various types of products. She started this business in 2009 with starting funds received from her husband. Later she joined up a program with Hekima in order to support her business, during which she gradually made some progress. With this new loan, she will buy flour, cooking oil, rice and laundry detergent, which will strengthen her initial capital. The biggest challenge in her business is related to the instability of the dollar's conversion rate.
She wishes for her children to keep going to school and she would like to build a house. Lastly, she would like to thank Hekima and their partners for the support they give to non-bankable business' owners in this context of global crisis related to the covid-19. The picture displays only the group leader because of covid-19.
