Amahirwe B Cb Group's story

Jacqueline is 36 years old and married with four children who aged between 5 and 13 years. Her husband is a farmer. For the past three years now, she has been selling foodstuffs. Jacqueline is the leader of the group called AMAHIRWE B CB, which in English means “Opportunity”. Group members sell different items and own a variety of stores. Jacqueline will use her loan to buy more groundnuts to sell. With the profits from her sales, she will be able to provide for her family and put away some savings.

Due to the global pandemic Urwego was not able to photograph all the members but Urwego was able to get one representative for the group photo.
