Jackline's story

When small-scale farmers are given access to credit, they are very hardworking, and that is what Jackline (28), a female smallholder farmer of both crops and livestock, believes in. For the past few years, she has been actively involved and making great profits in farming. Through her dairy cows, Jackline is able to get rich, creamy milk, and this helps her to support her family.

Jackline also practices crop farming, but she has not been making good profits because of poor farming inputs. This is why she is kindly seeking a loan to buy farm inputs. Through the loan, Jackline will be able to buy high-quality seeds, good fertilizer and pesticides that will greatly improve her crop production. Modern farming requires the use of modern techniques. Using high-quality seeds will assure her of a bumper harvest and increased profit.

Jackline is a visionary, and her goal for the season is to boost her crop production. She believes that through this loan, she will turn around her family life. This loan will surely have a great impact on her well-being.
