A loan helped to buy mulberry and other materials needed for making the tapa.

Fauiki's story

This 74 years old widow's name is Fauiki. She has five adult children, and it has been twenty years now since her husband passed away. Fauiki lives at her youngest daughter's house.

Currently she is running a tapa making business, where she joins a group of women in their village, and together they make tapas, once every week. She is a very hard working mother, and even though her children have grown and pursue their own careers and make good money, Fauiki is still determined to run her own business and be her own boss.

She makes her own money by selling out her tapas, and she is determined to continue running her business. She is applying for a loan to buy mulberry and other useful materials such as flour and clay for her business.

Help Fauiki support her business by lending her your money.
