Malia's story

Malia is a 41-year-old mother, who has four children. Her husband is a farmer. Malia currently runs a canteen business, where she prepares soft drinks and light food, and sells it at the primary school in her village. She wakes up at four every morning to start preparing her canteen. She makes sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs and a very cool soft drinks, suitable for children. From Monday to Friday, this is her daily routine. Her canteen runs every school day. On holidays, she prepares sandwiches and delivers them to retail stores in her village. Her business contributes a lot to their living conditions. Malia is applying for a loan to buy groceries for her business as well as new cooking tools, because her current ones are old and need to be replaced. Her vision is for her business to continue running and to be able to satisfy her family's needs.
