Corrine's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more rice, vita, pepper, oil and salt to sell.

Corrine's story

Greetings from Liberia. This is 30-year-old Corrine, a married mother with 3 children. One of her children is still schooling and all live at home. Corrine attended school until 8th grade. She is a hardworking business woman who sells rice, vita, pepper, oil and salt. Her mother taught her how to sell and her husband gave her money to start the business. For the past 10 years, she has been operating her sales. She uses car to transport supplies to her business site. She likes her business because it gives her more profits. Corrine applied for a loan through BRAC Liberia and KIVA Field Partner to buy more rice, vita, pepper, oil and salt to sell in order to generate greater profits. In the future she wants to build a house. She wishes to say thanks to BRAC and KIVA.
