Cholpon's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy dairy cows to expand her herd and increase her sales of organic milk.

Cholpon's story

The 32-year-old Cholpon is married, with two children. She has a secondary education, and is industrious, goal-oriented, and enterprising by nature. She is well familiar with agricultural techniques and knows how to use resources for their intended purpose. She has been raising livestock since 2008, and this is her family's main source of income. Thanks to her hard work and responsible approach, she has been able to develop her farm, so that it now consists of three cows, 20 sheep, and three horses. There is also a 0.4-hectare plot of irrigated land on which she grows alfalfa.

In order to develop her business further, Cholpon has turned to Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 160,000 som (KGS), to buy dairy cows. Her goal in this is to increase her organic milk sales and her livestock-rearing income. She is planning to put the income generated by the loan into developing her farm yet further.
