Mujeres Unidas Group's story

Women United is a group composed of working women fighting for a higher quality of life. They are in the fourth loan cycle of their program, and each one of the women has her own enterprise and is working to grow and move ahead.

One of the members, Elsa, owns a canteen and sells pastries. Her business allows her to give her loved ones a dignified life, buy necessities, and cover all of their household expenses. However, her sales suffered badly due to the pandemic, and during quarantine she had to close the canteen. This severely diminished her income, but she is searching for a way to improve her situation and keep moving forward. Elsa is requesting a loan to be able to buy ingredients to make her pastries and continue running her business.
