A loan helped to buy agro inputs to boost production.

Sadi's story

Sadi is a male Ugandan, aged 36 years. He is from Nkooko, Kakumiro district. He is married and has 4 children. He is a hardworking and committed businessman, dealing in the produce business. He buys and sells seasonal crops like coffee, maize, beans, and cassava depending on the market forces of supply and demand.

Besides that, he is also a farmer, growing mostly bananas as a cash crop. This business has fostered the general well-being of the client’s family and enabled him to lead a reasonably good life including educating his children. He is an eight-time borrower with UGAFODE and has taken a credit facility of 15,000,000 UGX to buy agro inputs. He is always faced with a challenge of price fluctuations and unfavorable weather, which depreciated his cash inflow making him incur losses. He believes with funds granted, this will be a stepping stone for a better harvest this time round. Thank you funders.
