Paulina's story

I have a passion for culture, altruism, and experience. Because of my curious nature and admiration for Hispanic heritage, I enjoy exploring and learning as much as I can about Mexican culture. As a little girl, my parents commented on how my curiosity drove me to learn more. When I would find something that interested me, I would research as much as I could about the subject. I loved to learn and had to know everything about everything. So, it is no surprise why my parents nicknamed me Curiosa. I travel throughout the streets of Mexico to build a closer connection with my ancestors. During these expeditions, I discover artisanal Agave distillates, spend time with the local Maestros and Maestras, and learn about the process behind their craft. It is the unique process and history of the Mezcalero or Mezcalera that drives my enthusiasm to learn more. This is why I launched my shop, Curiosa. My goal is to enrich others about the history of Mexican culture and hope that the stories are shared with friends while enjoying hand-selected drinkable art.
