Faida Group's story

Tirla is a client of the microfinance institution Hekima and leads the banc villaegois called Faida. She 44 years old and a widow. She has three children, one of them still goes to school and the other two finished school.

She is a seamstress and started this activity in 2001 with starting funds receive from her late husband. She later joined the Hekima program to support her business, which helped it grow gradually. With the new loan, she is going to stock up on fabric, threads and bolts of cloth in order to strengthen her initial capital. The challenge of her activity is due to police harassment.

Tirla would like her children to continue their education and for her to be able to feed her family. Lastly, she would like to thank Hekima and its partners for their support brought to non bankable business owners in this context of global crisis due to COVID-19.
