Jorge Alberto's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to invest in bio-security elements such as gloves, face masks, and antibacterial gel as well as lubricating oil and air filters.

Jorge Alberto's story

Jorge Alberto is a businessman of 35 years of age living in Barranquilla. He established his own logistical services business and transports freight by highway. He offers delivery services, transports heavy machinery and provides other services. This project began with a small trailer with which he used as a moving truck. Later he received an inheritance and invested in a much larger vehicle. With this he formed his business, which he has been running for over a year.

The business currently has two full time employees who contribute to the generation of work and income for the families. His customers are neighbors, friends, relatives, referrals and the general public.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, his income has been affected by the current trade decline and they had to close their door momentarily because of the national government directions. They find themselves in a process of reactivation with all the pertinent bio-security protocols. Because of this he is asking for his first KIVA loan with the Mario Santo Domingo foundation with the intent to invest in bio-security elements such as gloves, face masks and antibacterial gel. He also requires elements for maintaining his vehicle such as lubricating oil and air filters. Support him in his loan.
