Camilo Jose's story
Camilo Jose is a 30-year-old business owner residing in the city of Barranquilla. He formed his own outdoor and indoor advertising services company using electronic tools like LED and image-projecting screens. There he offers maintenance of screens and electronic tools, the provision of services, and the transfer and installation of advertising elements in businesses and corporate customers. He initially started the business independently more than two years ago and without a trade register. As he strengthened his market and quality of service, he has managed to regularize his business and structure it better to such an extent that he has more than 20 corporate customers with whom he has contracts for six months of installed services. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, his cash flow has been affected by the current decline in trade and they had to close their doors momentarily under the order of the national government. They find themselves in the process of starting up again with all the appropriate biosafety protocols. Therefore, he is taking out his first Kiva loan with the Fundación Mario Santo Domingo, where the organization will invest in paying his financial obligations and working capital. Support him in his loan.
