Kuña Mbarete Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy fabric, thread, adhesive, buttons, and other products.

Kuña Mbarete Group's story

There are 15 women who joined this committee with the goal of being able to improve their quality of life and that of their loved ones. They adopted the goal of being able to grow, not only economically, but also as individuals. Additionally, they are part of the poverty-elimination program, where all are fighting for a better quality of life.

One of the members is Sonia, who works making clothing. She says that, with effort and a daily fight, she's seeking a way to be able to grow and get ahead. She has a modest workshop where she does all sorts of projects, and in this way, offers a dignified quality of life to her loved ones.

She says that she joined the group with the goal of ensuring that her family didn't lack for anything and didn't have want for any type of necessity, as happened to her.

She's requesting this loan to be able to buy fabric, thread, adhesive, buttons, and other products, in order to be able to continue with her work as she's been doing.

Note: Only one person appears in the photo, but this is a group loan. It wasn't possible to take a group photo due to the necessity of avoiding a gathering of people, due to the covid-19 pandemic.
