A loan helped to meet the demand for personal protective equipment and hand sanitizer.
When I think back to my childhood, growing up in the city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, all I can remember is having the best time with my family! My father and mother taught my four siblings and I to always work hard and to strive to be the best at whatever we set out to do. Learning this mindset at an early age established the foundation for me to become an entrepreneur some day. When I was 5 or 6 years old, I entered into the world of entrepreneurship by trading baseball, football, basketball, and WWF wrestling cards; Ninja Turtle/GI Joe action figures; and anything else that I saw a value in, to my brothers and other neighborhood kids. By the second grade, I was able to buy my first pair of Nike tennis shoes with the money that I earned from selling trading cards and other random toys that I acquired and sold. By the time I was 10, I had a dog walking business that grew so fast, that I had to involve my brothers to help me out with the growing demand! The success that was experienced with the dog walking business really had a positive impact on my desire to be in business for myself when I got older. It presented an opportunity to offer a quality service to the community, and for my brothers and I to make money in order to purchase the things that we wanted. A little over 25 years later, I am still living in Pittsburgh, following my passion of being able to create opportunities for others and providing a quality product and service to the local and international community. My plans for the future are to grow my company to be an industry leader in protecting the public against germs and bacteria and bringing this awareness to a global scale!
