Evelio Antonio's story

Evelio Antonio, age 39, is a micro-entrepreneur who lives in the city of Cartagena. He has more than eight years' experience in his business, a restaurant selling typical Asian food. The idea for his business arose after working as a delivery person with some Asian people in a Chinese restaurant. There he learned all about preparing this type of food, and with his savings, he decided to start up his own business. Now he has three employees. His principal clients are neighbors in the area, businesses, and passers-by.

Due to the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic, his business diminished due to bio-security issues, and his income dropped drastically.

Now he is applying for his first Kiva loan from the Fundación Mario Santo Domingo in order to invest in supplies such as meat, chicken, and rice. Support his business loan.
