Fabio's story

Fabio, age 40, is a micro-entrepreneur who lives in the city of Cartagena with his partner and his child.

His has a retail business selling disposable items and food, and has 14 years' experience in this work. The idea for his business arose because he had always wanted to have his own business. He comes from a very hardworking and independent family, and he wanted to continue the tradition. His clients are neighbors, persons from the area, people referred to him, and others. Fabio has as a goal to increase his inventory to be able to improve his sales and his income. Due to the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic, his business diminished due to reasons of bio-security, and his income dropped drastically.

Now he is applying for his first Kiva loan with the Fundación Mario Santo Domingo in order to invest in the purchase of disposable items, food, drinks, and cleaning supplies. Support his business loan.
