01_Gpf Soplakhat Group's story

These 15 brave women are part of a group that has existed since October 2013. They are unified and have successfully paid back their first loan, received from a partner. Their main business is trade.

Madame Fatou, the representative, is on the right in the photo and dressed in pink. She is a 35-year-old married woman who is the mother of three children, including a boy, who are all in school.

Fatou’s business is selling fabrics and cosmetic products. She gets her supplies in the capital and is a street vendor in her local area. She has four years of experience in this type of business.

She will buy 12 packs of 12-yard wax, 5 packs of cloth, cosmetics, and incense, and pay for transportation. She sells on order through cash and credit and manages to easily sell her goods.

The profits obtained will be used to meet the needs of her children, to save for other projects and to develop her business activity.
