01_Santhie2 Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy smoked fish to sell and chairs to rent out.

01_Santhie2 Group's story

This Banc Villageois was created in November 2011. It includes these six women from the same neighborhood who share a strong bond of solidarity. They run commercial activities and have obtained over 10 loans that they have repaid successfully.

Mrs. Angèle is the group's representative. In the photo, she is sitting on the left with a hand raised. Age 62, she is a widowed mother to three children, two boys who have joined the work force and one daughter who is still a student.

Mrs. Angèle sells smoked fish. As a sideline, she also runs a chair rental activity. She works from home and has a good experience of 10 years.

She plans to get 700 kg of smoked fish that she will sell for a large profit, and 60 chairs to rent out. She is the only one renting out chairs in her sector, and this business is doing well.

Her profits will help her to bolster her savings within the Banc Villageois and to make repairs to her house.
