A loan helped to buy taro root and banana tube seedlings, chemicals, a bag back sprayer and chainsaw.

Leutuva's story

Leutuva is a 27-year-old mother of six. She's run a business selling taro and banana in her community four years to earn a living. She works very hard to please her customers with her fresh taro and banana.

She believes she'll earn more income if she plants more banana and taro, but in order to do this, Leutuva needs a loan to buy taro root and banana tube seedlings, chemicals, a bag back sprayer and chainsaw to help her in the business.

She even delivers her products to the flea market by bus. She comes from a family in which no one works to earn a living; only her business will help meet her family needs. Her dream is one day her family will have a great living standard. She became a member of SPBD in 2016 to seek finance for her business. Leutuva realizes that your support will be a big help for her and her family in developing a better living standard through financing.
