A loan helped to buy more timber and some new carpentry equipment so that he can make more furniture.

Lino's story

Lino is 54 years old, married and a father of six children. He lives in Bobonaro municipality, which is one of the most financially excluded cities in East Timor.

He is a very hard-working man, and has run a small carpentry business in his village since 2015, with his own working capital of $500. Lino enjoys running the carpentry because it allows him to be independent and provide a happy and healthy life for his family.

He is requesting a loan of $1500 (USD) to help buy some more timber and some new carpentry equipment so that he can make more furniture. Lino hopes to use this loan to continue expanding his business and provide a good life for his family.
