Urukundo Cb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more onions, tomatoes, and carrots.

Urukundo Cb Group's story

Beatrice is 40 years old and married, with one child aged six years. Her husband is a soldier. For the past year she has been selling vegetables.

Beatrice is the leader of the group called Urukundo CB, which in English means “Love.” Group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

In Beatrice’s case, she will use her share of the loan to buy more onions, tomatoes, and carrots to sell. With the profits from her sales she will be able to provide for her family.

Beatrice is thankful for the support.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to photograph all the members, but Urwego was able to get a photo of Beatrice, the group's president, to represent the rest of the group.

Thank you,
