Jiguissèmè Group's story
Diaba is representing the group in the photo due to COVID-19. She is a 35 year old, married woman. She is illiterate. She lives in a rural community in Mali with her husband who is a farmer and her four children. Three of them go to school. The children are aged from 2 to 16 years old.
Diaba's ambitions centres on the development of her household and the well-being of her children. Her living conditions are unfavourable thus the idea to join micro-financial institutions like RMCR.
She makes her purchases and her sales in cash at the weekly markets and in the surrounding villages. She is an active client of RMCR. The loan will enhance the development of her business raising sheep. Diaba will make an estimated profit of 60,000 XOF when she sells in six months.
With eight years of experience in the business she cites the sudden death of animals as an obstacle.
