Gloria Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy maize, mustard and flour.

Gloria Group's story

Hermine is a client of the Hekima MFI and the president of the GLORIA group. She is a 54-year-old widowed mother of seven children, only three of whom are school-educated due to a lack of funds.

Hermine sells a local beverage. She launched this activity 25 years ago with start-up capital supplied by her late husband. She later joined Hekima to help support her business, which has seen a gradual growth. This new loan will allow her to buy maize, mustard, and flour. Her challenge is the scarcity of customers.

She wants her children to continue their studies, and to be able to feed them.

She wishes to thank Hekima and its partners for supporting non-bankable business owners in this context of global COVID-19 crisis.

Because of the pandemic, only the group leader is featured in the photo.
