Norah's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy cereal grains (beans and maize) to sell in her village market, and as a mom, to use the profits to support her children.

Norah's story

As the world empowers women, Juhudi Kilimo is not left behind. They present Norah, a 32-year-old mom of 2 school going children, to the wonderful Kiva lenders around the world. Norah has always supported her children, just like any caring mother would do. Her aim is to aid them in their studies so that they can change their present and build a prosperous future.

Despite personal challenges, with her passion for supporting her family as the primary caregiver, Norah is also a role model, a mentor and an inspiration to many mother farmers in her village due to her resilience. She always wears a smile on her face.

For many years, Norah has been involved in mixed farming. Her primary sources of income have been keeping dairy cows and also a shop she operates. She has been able to provide nutritious food for her family. Norah is requesting a loan to buy cereal grains (beans and maize) to sell at the market in her village. Her remote village has a ready market for cereal but lacks a sufficient supply. With this loan, she will be able to sell cereal and meet the local demand.

Kindly and humbly lend to this mom.
