Shulin Zuleima's story
Shulin is an enterprising 33-year-old woman, a resident of the city of Barranquilla. She lives there wither her spouse and her two daughters, and where she also has a business doing finishings and windows. Shulin Zuleima started this business approximately 5 years ago. She learned about this from her father, because he did this type of work his whole life. She started it out of a desire to get her family ahead and help her spouse with the household expenses to have a better quality of life. She provides her services every day, working for cash payments and on credit with her main customers. She has earned a good reputation with them in the area as a responsible and hardworking person. Because of the Covid 19 pandemic, she had to suspend her economic activity due to the national government's orders and for health reasons. Her income was drastically affected. Now she is taking out her first Kiva loan with the Fundación Mario Santo Domingo to increase her business' working capital and to buy new materials like a sander, tools and more, so that she can increase her sales and her business' profits. Support her with her business loan.
