Nthabiseng's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase the ACE-1 hybrid energy system for cooking, lighting and charging in a way that is safer, cleaner and saves money.

Nthabiseng's story

Nthabiseng is a 29-year-old woman who lives by herself in a multi-room house, without access to electricity. Nthabiseng relies on commercial farming and struggles with buying multiple fuels from an insufficient income. She spends most of her energy expenses on mobile phone charging and gas, which cost up to LSL 425 per month. She also spends as much as 1 hour per day gathering fuel and fulfilling other energy needs like phone charging.

Nthabiseng bought the ACE 1 cook-stove to help her and her family save the money spent every month on fuel and also help them access solar electricity for charging their mobile devices any time for free. The ACE 1 clean cook-stove is biomass and solar-powered.
