Virgen De Fatima Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy flour, eggs, shortening, sugar, and other products.

Virgen De Fatima Group's story

The group called Virgen de Fátima was formed in the city of Ybycuí among friends and neighbors who are looking for ways to be able to improve the quality of life for themselves and their loved ones. They're in their fifth loan cycle in the women's bank program.

One of them is Julia. She works selling baked goods, and she herself is responsible for making everything she sells. She's very good at everything she does, which is why it's going very well for her and she has an established clientele now that always orders from her.

She said that the worldwide crisis of the Covid-19 pandemic has prevented her from working normally and earning the means to be able to help her family, and this has affected her sales. She said she needs to be able to invest a little more capital in her job so she can build it up again.

That's why she's requesting this loan to buy ingredients such as flour, eggs, shortening, sugar, and other products so she can continue making her products and continue with her job, as she has been doing.

Note: There's only one person in the photo but this is a group loan. The group photo wasn't possible because of social distancing during the Covid-19 pandemic.
