Juana Maria's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy wood, reeds, glue, varnish, sponge, and fabric to upholster the chairs.

Juana Maria's story

Juana's a woman who has worked for 15 years making wood furniture to earn a living for herself and get ahead with her husband's support. She's a responsible, honest, and hardworking artisan with many goals in life, and she won't rest until she has achieved every one of them.

Juana already had a previous experience with Kiva loans through MiCrédito. With that loan she increased her production and filled some orders.

She wants to improve herself, so once again she has turned to the loans from these two organizations to request a new loan to buy wood, reeds, glue, varnish, sponge, and fabric to upholster the chairs.

Her short-term goal is to have a variety of furniture and to export her merchandise.
