Elizabeth is a 32 year-old woman who is married with five children, and they live in a community in Honiara, capital of the Solomon Islands.

Elizabeth runs a small market business selling betel-nuts, cigarettes and ring cakes in her community and at the market to earn a living. She has been in this business for six years.

Elizabeth has requested a loan to pay for additional betel-nuts, cigarettes, flour and baking ingredients to assist her with her market business. She plans to use her profits to meet her family's weekly expenses and improve her business.
