Nafore Sare Pathe Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy sheep and resell them.

Nafore Sare Pathe Group's story

Madame Fatoumata is standing in the picture with her sheep. She is 30 years old and did not go to school. She is married and has six children, two of whom go to school. Her husband is a farmer and tends a small family plot.

Madame Fatoumata has been raising livestock and goats for 18 years. She prefers to raise sheep and goats and dreams of becoming an example in her community. She stocks up in her village and at weekly markets where she also resells her animals for cash.

Madame Fatoumata belongs to a hard-working group called Nafore Sare Pathe, which means “In the Interest of the Village.” The group includes seven (7) members.

She makes use of MFI to develop her activity in order to ensure the health and education of her children. She still faces difficulties such as disease among her livestock or animals being stolen.
