01_Mbourokh Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy sheep for bovine farming and peanuts for production.

01_Mbourokh Group's story

These five women have been group members since its creation in April 2010; they live in the same village and share good social relationships. They have repaid several loans by their maturity date, and they mainly work in agriculture and trade.

Fatou, the representative, is 48 years old and to the right of the photo with her hand raised. She is married and mother of seven children including three boys; all are in school.

Fatou works in sheep fattening and in parallel the artisanal production of peanut oil. She gets her supplies from the weekly markets, works at home, and resells in the cities. She has around ten years' experience in these sectors.

She will buy three sheep and two barrels of peanuts; she easily uses up all her products despite the competition. Her profits will enable her to build up her work and to help her husband take care of family expenses.
