Sia's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy a sack of taro, bananas, a bottle of vegetable oil, a fry pan and a wooden spoon.

Sia's story

Sia is a 66-year-old mother with ten children. She runs a small business selling banana and taro chips in her village and at the market to earn a living. She has been doing this for more than five years.

Sia has requested a loan to buy a sack of taro, bananas, a bottle of vegetable oil, a fry pan, a wooden spoon and plastic bags to help her run the business. She hopes to use her profits to build a chips store in the near future and to provide for her family's needs. Sia became a member of SPBD in 2017.
