A loan helped to pay for land filling around her house.

Chhorn's story

Chhorn is 76 years of age. She is a widow and has four children living in Kaoh Thum district, Kandal province. She is a conscientious rice farmer who owns and manages around two hectares of farmland. She usually works in this type of agribusiness along with her children, earning in the vicinity of USD 8.00 each day. Chhorn has been doing this for almost 13 years old. Rice farming is the sole of her family’s income. Chhorn aspires to achieve financial stability and provide her children with comfortable living conditions.

Because of the shortage of her finances, she has applied for a loan in the amount of USD 2,000 to pay for land filling around her house. With this loan, she can pay for land filling and use the land to cover the mud to provide her family members with a good environment, fresh air, protection from illness, and good living conditions.

In the future, she aims to renovate her old house and purchase lands for farming.

She sends thanks to all lenders who have contributed their funds to help.
