Angela's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy perfumes, alcohol gel, creams, face masks and more.

Angela's story

Angela, 20, is a young entrepreneur, single, shopkeeper, who quit the university two years ago due to the socio-political crisis that her country was undergoing, as there was too much insecurity to continue with medical school. Her dream is to become a medical doctor so that she can serve her people through her services, however since another crisis has been added, as is the covid-19 sanitary crisis, she has to resign herself to waiting for the situation to improve so that she can continue with her studies.

As an alternative, and to do something productive for her life, she began a year ago selling cosmetics for men and women. Although the outlook has not been so good, she has managed to establish good clients and the business has been growing. She started with savings that she had from her parents' contributions, and her mother has given her moral support and motivated her to continue undertaking her business and making it grow.

She is applying for a Kiva loan through FUNDENUSE to purchase perfumes for men, women and children, among other products. This funding will have a positive impact on the business as she will be able to offer a greater number of products that will intern promote higher sales and income.

Angela's immediate goal is to return to university to finish her degree in medicine, and in the future to be a financially independent person which she will achieve through her business' profitability.
