A loan helped to buy two heifers, salt, molasses, vitamins and dewormers.

Maria Del Carmen's story

Raquel is a woman from the country with a warm, smiling appearance. She lives with her husband and two children in a house they were able to build with great effort on land they received as an inheritance.

Raquel and her husband take care of a farm next to their home. Before starting her caretaking job Raquel worked as a laborer, traveling to harvests around the province, but she needed more stability for her children. This led her to take the job at the farm, where she cares for animals and crops. She still hasn't given up her occasional work as a day laborer, as it is extra income for her family. She also has dairy cows that her boss lets her keep on his land.

Raquel says the income the dairy cows generate is good. For that reason she wants to keep developing that endeavor, and is seeking a loan to buy two heifers, salt, molasses, vitamins and dewormers. This will allow her to care for her animals so that they increase their milk production.
