Jetta Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase an ACE-1 hybrid energy system for cooking, lighting, and charging.

Jetta Group's story

Mathato is a 42-year-old woman who lives with five other family members, including one child, in a traditional hut that has no access to electricity. She relies on her job as a street vendor and struggles with buying multiple fuel sources with her irregular income. Mathato spends most of her energy expenses on candles and paraffin, which totals to 223 LSL per month. She also spends as much as one hour per day gathering fuel and fulfilling other energy-related needs, such as charging her phone.

Mathato and the other group member from her village each bought an ACE-1 cookstove to help them save money every month on fuel costs and to access solar electricity for charging their mobile devices anytime for free. The ACE-1 clean cookstove is powered by biomass and solar energy.
