A loan helped to buy more slippers, cold water and seasoned pork to sell.

Martha's story

Martha is married with 4 children and a resident of Monrovia region. She operates a business where she sells slippers, cold water and seasoned pork. Her business is the primary source of income to meet family necessities.

She is currently out of stock for her demanding customers yet she is short of income as sales have gone down due to the current pandemic. Martha approached BRAC Liberia seeking a credit facility to boost her capital to buy more slippers, cold water and seasoned pork to sell. She wants to restock her business to meet her customers' needs since some of them have resumed work.

Sales from the business will help push up her profit margin and will also increase her cash inflows which she uses to support her family and to grow the business.

Thank you funders.
