Kayla's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped expand my business and double my income.

Kayla's story

I created Braddock & Co. because I found myself struggling in the workplace with having to choose getting to attend my son's events and school functions over work. It should never be that way but unfortunately for a woman it is hard to find a job that works around those things. I finished my degree in graphic design and decided after talking with my husband to invest in my first laser machine. I didn't quite my job right away, but prayed that with a little hard work and long nights after clocking out of my day job, I would build the company to become stable enough for me to quit my job and work from home. Within 6 months my business had picked up so fast that I couldn't keep up with the orders and have a day job. It was at that time our family made the decision for me to quit my job and began Braddock & Co. full time. Since then my business has been steadily growing. In March, Covid hit and we were afraid people wouldn't be wanting to spend money on home decor and gifts. We found it to be quite the opposite. We have steadily keep our business going, however, it has now gotten to a point where I am needing to invest in a bigger laser to start mass producing items. I feel that my business is at peak where I need to start looking at being able to hire someone to help me so that I can focus more time on homeschooling during this pandemic. In order to hire someone, we need to produce our products faster. This is where the bigger laser will come in. The money we would get would help us tremendously during this strange time in our lives.
