Rohaida's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy surplus group sets, seat posts and other bicycle parts to sell as highly demanded by customers.

Rohaida's story

Rohaida lives in a poor community near the port area. With the active trade activities, Rohaida has set up a shop selling surplus items. It was more than 5 years ago when she decided to concentrate on selling bicycles. Her customers were mostly hobbyist who would buy mountain bikes or road bikes. She also employs one shop helper and a bike mechanic.

Since the community quarantine was implemented as a measure against Covid-19, the demand for bikes and bike parts has been high. Transportation has been limited and for the majority of people, bicycles are the best choice for transport in going to work and doing business. Rohaida is requesting a loan of PhP 15,000 to buy surplus group sets, seat posts and other bicycle parts to sell as highly demanded by customers. Rohaida hopes to meet this demand and also earn well in the process.
