A loan helped to build a safe latrine at home.

Channy's story

Channy is 33 years old. She is a married woman who has been living in the Bakan district with her spouse and two children. Channy is a conscientious farmer who owns a few plots of farmland for farming activities. She works in this business along with her spouse. This couple has good cooperation. Also, they often raise some poultry for additional income for the family. They are able to earn around 16,700 Cambodian riel (KHR) each day.

Channy is requesting a loan to build a safe latrine at home. She hopes to increase the value of her home, improve sanitation, ensure healthy living conditions to safeguard the health of her family, and protect the environment. With this loan, she is able to purchase construction supplies such as bricks and cement to build a safe latrine and pay for the labor costs.

She sends her thanks to all lenders for contributing their funds to help poor folks like her.
