Nua Ngam 22 Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy fertilizer for her rice field and fingerlings [young fish].

Nua Ngam 22 Group's story

Hong is 29 years old and has two children. She lives with her husband, her parent-in-law, and her children in a small house in Vietnam's northwest mountains.

Like other villagers, Hong's family gets their main income from agricultural production with some small-scale activities such as growing rice, corn, and cassava and raising fish, chickens, ducks and buffaloes.

Because Hong's family income from these activities is low, she wants to expand her breeding by buying more fingerlings [young fish] to raise and buying fertilizer for her rice field. To get the money for that, she borrowed a loan from Anh Chi Em. This was the second time she borrowed.

Hong hopes that, with the continued support of the program, the profits will be there so she can better support her family and continue to invest in the breeding model.
