Elvia Maria's story
Elvia is an affable, responsible, enterprising, and attentive woman. Throughout the pandemic, she has been very concerned for her health given that she is an older adult and therefore among those most vulnerable to the virus. However, due to a lack of economic resources, Elvia has had to continue her work selling fruits and vegetables. To avoid the crowds, she has moved her market stall to a room in her home, where she has set up improvised wooden shelves in order to continue offering fruits and vegetables to her customers and neighbors. Elvia is requesting a loan so that she can increase her inventory by buying Swiss chard, potatoes, broad beans, onions, and other fruits and vegetables. She hopes to continue improving and promoting her business.
