Gulzat's story

Gulzat is 37 years old and married, with 2 children. She has a college education. By her nature she is hard-working, goal-oriented, and enterprising. She knows the ins and outs of running a farm and knows how to effectively invest funds. For her primary income, she works as a teacher, and she has also been raising animals for her family since 2007. Thanks to her hard work and responsible approach, she has been able to grow her farm to 3 cows, 12 sheep, and 2 horses. She has 0.4 ha of irrigated land, where she grows beans and plums.

In order to further grow her farm, she has applied for a loan of 50,000 som (KGS) from Bai Tushum Bank to buy livestock, in order to increase her income from breeding livestock. She plans to invest the income from the loan into growing her farm further.
