Washujaa Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy Bralima and Brasimba beverages, which will strengthen her initial capital.

Washujaa Group's story

Madame Brigitte is a client of Hekima IMF and chairs the WASHUJAA solidarity group. She is 40 years old, married, and the mother of 8 children, all of whom are in school. Her partner is a teacher.

Madame Brigitte sells beverages in a depot. She started her business in 2017 with start-up money she received from her husband. Later on she got involved with the Hekima program to support her business, which has grown incrementally since then. With this new loan, she plans to buy Bralima and Brasimba beverages, which will strengthen her initial capital. The challenge to her business is the lack of customers.

She would like her children to continue their education and to have the means to feed them. Finally, she would like to thank Hekima and its partners for the support they have provided to owners of businesses that have no cash value during this global Covid-19 crisis. The photo shows only the leader of the group on account of covid-19.
