Generosite Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy a supply of 20 pieces of super wax pagne fabric which will strengthen her initial capital.

Generosite Group's story

Julienne is a client of the microfinance institution Hekima and represents the Generosite group. She is a widow of 63 years of age and has 10 children, two of whom are enrolled in school and eight of whom are responsible for themselves.

She established her business selling pagne fabric in 1980 using start-up funds she received from her late husband. Later she got involved with the Hekima program to support her business, which has been developing progressively. With this new loan, she will buy a supply of 20 pieces of super wax pagne fabric, which will strengthen her initial capital. The challenge of her business is linked to the lack of customers.

She would like to feed her family and develop her business. Finally, she wishes to thank Hekima and its partners for the support shown to business owners without access to traditional banking facilities in the context of the global crisis caused by covid-19.
